Self-Care and Self-Love Validation

4-minute read

Self-care and self-love are essential components of a fulfilling and joyful life. It is crucial to validate ourselves internally rather than relying on external validation.

External validation, while it may feel good at the moment, can only take us so far, and when we neglect our internal validation, our self-worth suffers. This is so normal! We’ve been told everything since birth.

Many seek validation from others because we may have received either too much or too little validation as children. This can impact how we manage our emotions, personality, and attachments, leading to difficulty trusting others, high levels of anxiety, fear of rejection, and unpredictable behaviors.

Self-validation is a practice that can help us build healthy self-esteem, which is crucial for our overall well-being and our living in the NOW choices.

Here are some tips to help improve your self-validation practice:

Practice self-care retreat within time to validate worth from the inside. Try replacing behaviors of seeking external validation with self-supporting methods like meditation or yoga. Instill confidence by making positive statements to your inner self with awareness of Mental Plane mastery techniques. Replace your negative self-talk with positive statements and journal consistently to hear your true self speaking.

Say no to activities you don’t like. You don’t have to be a people pleaser to be validated. People are used to hearing no on occasion.

Rather than seeking validation from others, try validating yourself. Focus inward and practice regular introspection to get in touch with your emotions, thoughts, and internal environment. Observe and describe your internal experiences with raw accuracy. Journal work will solidify your expansion.

Practice harm reduction by not seeking validation from people who can cause you emotional distress. By practicing self-care and self-validation, you can achieve the self-confidence and self-esteem you desire. If you find that you are struggling to validate yourself, it is okay to seek help from a trusted friend or a mental health professional who can guide you back to the path of self-validation.

Retreat within self-care and self-love time should always come first to give from inner power sources. Living in the NOW then becomes your world of awareness and abundance from the inside out.

Seek nourishing support networks. Go over to our Champions’ private Facebook group and interact with like-minded living in the NOW seekers.
