Persistance VS Resistance = Retreat Within Self-Care Time
Resistance is a vibration where I must invite my present reality in with an open shift in Mental Plane perspective. Resistance perspectives often stem from my Physical Plane fears that freeze my brain and convolute my thinking, sometimes so much that I will not address what is really bothering my NOW.
Retreat Within time keeps my real world and my real thoughts strong enough to recognize when my old NOW is trying to sneak back into my life.
When I am in the thick of resistance, when emotional distress, pity, or fear is causing me to suffer, building a sturdy bridge of true NOW connection can offer the deep, grounding support I need and crave to feel present and strong in my NOW.
So, instead of resisting, I can practice Mental Plane empathic listening to my Physical Plane communication blocks.
Empathic listening can unlock my inner suffering. Both Planes can then communicate, allowing each one to feel seen and validated for the burdens uniquely its own. This unlocking of inner comfort can de-escalate the tension and build The Choice to Trust.
Cutting through the noise of empty platitudes and raging fears builds an emotional lifeline for Living in the NOW!™ on purpose.
Retreat Within: A Time to Reflect
Take 10–15 minutes to reflect on these perspectives by looking at a few general NOW questions:
If your past self from the beginning of 2026 could see how your 2026 has turned out so far, what would they think?
- What would have surprised them?
- What would have saddened them?
- What would they say to you, if they could?
If your future self from 2036 was reflecting on how you have handled 2026 so far, what would they say?
- What would they notice that may have more significance than you presently realize?
- What would they be proud of?
- What would they say to you, if they could?
However you define the new NOW you desire, Retreat Within Self-Care Time gives meaning to the moment.
The new NOW will always change. Your awareness and presence without resistance grow stronger over time.
Meaning is malleable. Meaning will make you real in the NOW. Self-care time with your True Self will ground you. Holding the NOW in the palm of your hand allows you to happily turn, listen, and remain open to the next perfect NOW. That is the power behind my words “Healthy, Happy NOW!” PJ Zito
